Emily joins the Connecticut College Democrats all the way from Missouri.
While new to the east coast she dove into New London and Connecticut
politics head first as a freshman working extensively on the 2005 New
London municipal election. Emily first became actively involved in
politics during the 2004 Presidential campaign when she worked as a
precinct leader in Missouri for the Kerry/Edwards campaign. This summer
Emily worked as an intern at NARAL and continues, as she has in the past,
to work with a number of other advocacy groups as well. Emily is
currently a sophomore and a Government major and a Religious Studies
minor.
